International Women’s Rights Day
March 8, 2021 was International Women’s Day. On this occasion, B2C Consulting wanted to show its support for all women.
This day sheds light on the importance of committing to women’s rights and reducing gender inequalities in everyday life.
B2C Consulting encourages every woman to persue their dreams and to dare to make them come true ! We cannot help but mention Alice Perry, the first woman in Europe to obtain an engineering degree, a profession that was reserved for men at the time. 👩🎓
In order to show our support, and with the participation of our colleague, B2C Engineering, we decided to walk in honor of women and their rights. 🚶♀🚶♂ Thanks to the WalkUnited application, from March 8 to March 15, we donated our steps to the association «Solidarités Femmes» committed to the fight against violence inflicted to women.
The whole team joined forces with many others to help this campaign reach the goal of 28 million steps, an amount of € 1,500. Thus, at our level, we supported this action dear to us and collected a total of 78,437 steps.
We were also very pleased to learn that the WalkUnited app’s final goal was quickly reached.💪
This event highlights one of our principal values: people. B2C Consulting daily encourages mutual help, respect and solidarity within our team. 👐
